2008 Mystery Trip: Prime Timers and Merri Mixers at the Stonehenge replica. Pastor Swanson arranged the mystery trip with stops at the Maryhill Museum and Stonehenge.


Dedication of the 2008 Habitat House located in Granger. Several from our congregation made the drive down to Granger to build a home for the Diaz family.


Visit Pr. Scheid's avocation at the Yakima Symphony Chorus.  . 

Music at Central

  • Choral
    • The Festival Choir sings at both the early and late service, on alternate Sundays.
    • The "Halleluya Singers" provide special music for certain occasions, such as the middle Easter service.
  • Instrumental
    • The Handbell Choir, directed by Virginia Prochnow. Virginia is also Central's organist, serving the congregation since 1957.
    • A Brass Choir plays at certain festival services.
  • Youth
    Confirmation music team plays contemporary worship and praise music on Wednesday evenings and occasionally for Sunday worship.
